Amy Grant show picked up for NBC's fall season; CD debuts at #1

Amy Grant's new program Three Wishes has officially been picked up for NBC's upcoming fall season. As previously reported on CMCentral, the program's pilot had been offered to the network, who was considering adding it to their fall schedule.

Last week, NBC announced it's upcoming lineup, and Three Wishes, was indeed picked up. The show is scheduled to air at 8:00 p.m. ET on Friday nights, and following is a show synopsis from NBC's website:

NBC will be making wishes come true in this new series starring five-time Grammy-winning artist Amy Grant. Leading a team of experts to small towns across the country, Grant will help make the hopes and unbelievable dreams of deserving people a reality. From paying tribute to an unsung hero to helping a homeless family in the grip of a life-threatening medical crisis, this emotional and inspirational series will reminds us never to underestimate the impact one life can have on another. Featuring: Carter Oosterhouse, Eric Stromer, Amanda Miller.

Grant has even more to celebrate as her recent project Rock of Ages: Hymns of Faith debuted at #1 on Billboard's Christian Albums chart and also entered the Billboard 200 at #42.
